Jean Christophe Bouteiller

Jean-Christophe BOUTEILLER is CEO of Thales Raytheon Systems Air Missile Defense Command and Control (TRS AMDC2), a joint venture between Raytheon Company and Thales Group.

 

Jean-Christophe joined Thales Group in 2012 in the Transportation business unit in Denmark, where he was responsible for deploying and operating a nation-wide electronic ticketing system, used today by millions of people. He then led a consortium made up of Thales and Strukton Rail, implementing the first digital train control system (ETCS) in Denmark. In 2019, he was Operations Director at Thales Alenia Space, supervising bids and projects in France and Italy.

 

He joined TRS as Vice President for Programs & Product Development in 2021 and was appointed CEO of TRS in 2022.

 

Prior to working with Thales, Jean-Christophe worked in the field of telecommunications, starting in R&D at Lucent Technologies in New Jersey, USA, working on high-power lasers. He then joined Nokia in Denmark, leading mobile-phone development projects.

He graduated from Ecole Polytechnique in France and Technische Universität München in Germany in Electrical Engineering.
