ThalesRaytheonSystems (TRS) has incorporated advanced technology improvements for its Operations Control Group for the AN/TPQ-37 Radar that will extend system service life and significantly reduce customer life cycle costs. The RMI shelter contains two modular workstations. The modular workstation features the next generation of technology. It is a self-contained device with common hardware (digital map, power supply, monitor, chair, printer, etc.) among shelters. The modular common workstation is portable, modular, reconfigurable and independent of the shelter design. The workstation giving Commanders in training and tactical units the flexibility of using the modular common workstation as a standalone training device, independent of the radar system.
