ThalesRaytheonSystems Announces New U.S. Chief Operating Officer

FULLERTON, Calif., (July 27, 2009) – ThalesRaytheonSystems (TRS) today announced the appointment of Louis P. Laroche to the position of Chief Operating Officer, U.S. Operations.

Laroche is a member of the ThalesRaytheonSystems Leadership Team and is responsible for overseeing and improving the strategic operations management of ThalesRaytheonSystems’ U.S. operations.

Laroche replaces Brian Hickey, who recently joined Raytheon NCS as director, Strategic Transportation Systems. Laroche most recently held the position of Chief Financial Officer for ThalesRaytheonSystems, Ltd. based in Massy, France.

His experience includes 30 years at Raytheon, where Laroche worked in various business and financial management positions, including Chief Financial Officer for Raytheon Technical Services Company in Reston, Virginia; Controller for Raytheon Electronic Systems in El Segundo, California; and Chief Financial Officer for Raytheon Missile Systems in Tucson, Arizona.

Laroche began his career at Raytheon Middle East Systems Company in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in economics from the University of Massachusetts.
