ThalesRaytheonSystems Announces New Chief Executive Officer

MASSY, France and FULLERTON, Calif., (June 16, 2009) – ThalesRaytheonSystems has appointed Jack G. Harrington as its chief executive officer. Harrington succeeds Michel Mathieu, who has been appointed senior vice-president, Sector Solutions for Aircraft, of Thales’s Aerospace Division. The Harrington appointment is part of the periodic rotation of senior management positions stipulated under the TRS joint-venture agreement.

“I am pleased to assume leadership of a historic joint venture that brings world-class command and control systems and defense radar capabilities to the global marketplace,” said Harrington. “TRS has become a global leader in C2/C4I operations centers and will continue to deliver innovative offerings to customers around the world.”

Prior to his new role, Harrington was vice president of Command and Control Systems for Raytheon Network Centric Systems, one of six major businesses at the Raytheon Company.
