Brian McKeon has been appointed chairman of ThalesRaytheonSystems, Ltd., the equally-owned transatlantic joint venture between Thales Group and Raytheon Company. He replaces Terry Heil who has retired.
McKeon will continue to serve as vice president of Command and Control Systems for Raytheon’s Network Centric Systems business unit. In that capacity, he leads
operations at nine Raytheon facilities in Texas, Florida, Massachusetts, Colorado, Indiana, Virginia and Alabama. He previously led the Command and Control/Battle Management programs group in Raytheon’s former C3I business.
McKeon has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Brandeis University and a master’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Lowell.
ThalesRaytheonSystems is an equally owned transatlantic joint venture between Raytheon Company and Thales Group. ThalesRaytheonSystems is a worldwide supplier of air defense command and control centers (ADCC) and ground based battlefield radars. Annual revenue is $700 million with 2000 people employed.
