Lou Laroche is Chief Financial Officer of ThalesRaytheonSystems.


Founded in June 2001, ThalesRaytheonSystems is the global defense industry’s only structural joint venture equally owned by two industry leaders, Thales and Raytheon.

With sales of $700M in 2005, over 80% of which were made internationally, the company is a worldwide leader in air defense command and control systems and ground-based radars. 

The company’s 1400 employees are equally split between its two sites at Massy, near Paris, France and Fullerton, California, USA.

Besides ensuring the accuracy of the financial statements as a member of the ThalesRaytheon Systems Leadership Team, Laroche is responsible for the development and analysis of all financial data needed to successfully run the Company.

Prior to his current position, Laroche worked as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Raytheon Technical Services Company, in Reston, Virginia.

During his time at Raytheon, he has worked in various business and financial management positions, including Financial Controller for Raytheon Electronic Systems, El Segundo, California and earlier as Financial Controller at Raytheon Missile Systems in Tucson, Arizona.

Laroche began his career at Raytheon Middle East Systems Co. in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, before moving to Raytheon’s Missile Systems Division in Andover, Massachusetts, where he worked as Manager of Patriot Program Analysis.

Laroche received his bachelors degree in economics from the University of Massachusetts and has also completed several professional development courses including Management Training & Development Programs.
