Hervé Multon is Chief Executive Officer of ThalesRaytheonSystems’ French Operations.
Founded in June 2001, ThalesRaytheonSystems is the global defense industry’s only structural joint venture equally owned by two industry leaders, Thales and Raytheon.
With sales of $700M in 2005, over 80% of which were made internationally, the company is a worldwide leader in air defense command and control systems and ground-based radars.
The company’s 1400 employees are equally split between its two sites at Massy, near Paris, France and Fullerton, California, USA.
As a member of the ThalesRaytheonSystems Leadership Team, Hervé Multon is responsible for managing the company’s business activities in France.
Prior to his current position, he was Director of the Eurocat E Business Unit at Thales Air Systems Division.
Before this, he held various positions in the French Ministry of Defense, most recently in Human Resources Management and as Private Secretary to the head of the French Procurement Agency. Hervé Multon also worked as Head of Office for Missiles and Electronic Programs within the Programs, Acquisition methods and Quality Directorate, and as Program Manager for Franco-Italian ASTER missiles and launchers within the Missiles and Space Directorate.
Hervé Multon received his Master of Science from Stanford University in 1987, after studying at the Ecole Polytechnique and ENSTA (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées).
