Brian Hickey is Chief Operating Officer of ThalesRaytheonSystems’ US Operations.
Founded in June 2001, ThalesRaytheonSystems is the global defense industry’s only structural joint venture equally owned by two industry leaders, Thales and Raytheon.
With sales of $700M in 2005, over 80% of which were made internationally, the company is a worldwide leader in air defense command and control systems and ground-based radars.
The company’s 1400 employees are equally split between its two sites at Massy, near Paris, France and Fullerton, California, USA.
As a member of the ThalesRaytheonSystems Leadership Team, Brian Hickey is responsible for overseeing and improving the strategic operations management of ThalesRaytheon
Systems’ US operations.
Prior to his current position, Hickey was Chief Financial Officer of ThalesRaytheonSystems’ US Operations. Before this he worked as Financial Controller of the Command and Control Division of Hughes Aircraft Co.
Hickey joined Hughes Aircraft Co. Manufacturing Division in 1984 where he worked on several radar production programs, gaining extensive experience of engineering and manufacturing operations, before becoming Manager of Financial Planning for the company’s Surveillance and Sensors Division. He later worked as Financial Controller of the Software Engineering Division.
Hickey received both his Bachelors and Masters Degrees from the California State University, Fullerton.
Brian Hickey is also Fullerton Site Executive.
